Miss MSU Scholarship Pageant

The Colvard Student Union and the MSU Student Association are proud to sponsor the Miss MSU Scholarship Program and Pageant. Women who are between the ages of 18 and 24, are full-time students, and are residents of the state of Mississippi are eligible to compete for the title and job of Miss MSU. The Miss MSU Scholarship Program is a preliminary competition to the Miss Mississippi and Miss America programs. The Miss MSU Pageant is held each Fall and the deadline for submitting all required forms is usually mid October.

$5 for MSU Students/ $10 general public

Participants in the Miss MSU Pageant compete in the following areas: interview, talent, evening wear, swimwear, and on-stage question. The winner and the runners-up each receive prizes and scholarship money applied to their MSU tuition. Miss MSU represents the university each summer at the Miss Mississippi Pageant. In addition, Miss MSU attends important university functions, MSU recruiting events, and is expected to promote MSU and her platform in the campus and local communities.
